Spend three nights in Rome, staying in 5-star luxury near the Roman Forum. Start things off on the right foot with a guided private walking tour. Lasting three hours, this takes you to the best sights of the central city, while helping you get your bearings for an afternoon exploring on your own. Spend some more time in town, or explore the Colosseum and Roman Forum, both located close to your hotel. Save the Vatican for the following day, where you’ll enjoy early entrance privileges! Your next day takes you to Florence, with no sightseeing scheduled, so feel free to explore a bit more at leisure if you like. A walk through this incredible city of art and innovation gets you acquainted with its icons, none more famous than Michelangelo’s David. Learn all about the Medicis and dive into the history of the Renaissance while getting the inside scoop on Florence’s best sights, including entrance to the famed Accademia Gallery. Again, you’ll have the afternoon to explore on your own, with plenty to see and experience in Florence. But Florence is far from the only beautiful city to see in Tuscany. A private VIP tour takes you to Siena and San Gimignano, sampling specialties from the Tuscan countryside.

Time to head south to gritty Naples, and a private tour of the Pompeii ruins. You’ll spend your last three Italian nights in beautiful Sorrento, enjoying a day trip to the island of Capri and the famous Blue Grotto. Day 1

Train Station to Central Rome

A 7-minute walk from a metro station, this upscale hotel with Roman ruins and an annex is also an 11-minute walk from the Colosseum. The Rooftop Lounge is the perfect place to relax and enjoy something to drink after a long day spent in the city. This is also where the complimentary breakfast is served.

Day 2

Private Walking Tour Rome

Take an exclusive 3-hour private walking tour of Italy's capital city, Rome. This tour includes a visit to some of the most famous squares in the centre of the city such as the Spanish Square and its famous Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna, the Pantheon and Navona Square. Unless closed for religious cermonies, a visit to some of Rome's traditional Catholic churches may be included in the walking tour, for example, the Church of St. Ignatius or the Church of St. Louis.


Day 3

Early Entrance Vatican

Take a tour of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel with privileged entrance. On this exclusive small group tour, get an early start to discover the very best of Vatican City by entering the Vatican Museums one entire hour before the general public. Take in the majesty of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel in total peace before the crowds start pouring in and admire the Vatican's many treasures with your local guide as you walk through this 9-mile long museum so you get to see the highlights and recommend rooms and collections. Your tour begins at 7:30AM near the Vatican Museums entrance where you will meet your expert tour guide who will let you into the museums one hour before they officially open and you will be immediately guided through the empty Vatican Museum hallways straight to the first stop -- Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel. Since this chapel is the number one attraction in the Vatican, you'll get a rare opportunity to admire Michelangelo's ceiling frescoes and Last Judgment without having to deal with crowds of tourists. You will then walk up the stairs to the amazing galleries, from the Candelabra, to the Tapestries up to the world-known Gallery of Maps, the Renaissance version of Google Maps. A Vatican Tour cannot be complete without the Raphael Rooms of the apartments of Pope Julius II. Once you're done in the Raphael Rooms, your guide will take you through the Sistine Chapel one more time before heading into Saint Peter's Basilica. Admire the spaciousness of this basilica, which is the largest Catholic church in the entire world. A few of the glorious works of art you will get to see up close include Michelangelo's Pietà and Bernini's Baldacchino Altar. Before you leave St. Peter's Basilica, your guide will tell you about the Papal Tombs, the Memorial of Pope Alexander VII, and tell you how to climb up to the top of the Dome. Day 5

Walking Tour + Accademia Gallery

On this private tour, enjoy an enchanting romantic walk by the residences of the great 15th century merchants and the most important basilicas and monasteries of the city, including the Cathedral, following the tracks of the great men and women who lived in the glorious centuries of the Renaissance with some hints to modern age. We'll discover where Dante was born, we'll walk down the same paths once travelled by Mona Lisa, the mysterious lady depicted by Leonardo, we'll explore the places where the greatest sculptor of all times, Michelangelo, lived and worked, to eventually meet his most celebrated statue, David, and his unfinished marble giants, the Slaves.


Day 6

VIP Siena, San Gimignano and Dinner in Chianti

Enjoy this small-group tour which will let you discover the beauties of Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti countryside, before admiring the sunset on the Tuscan hills and tasting a typical dinner in a fascinating location.

In the ancient times, there was only one city in Tuscany that competed against Florence for power, wealth and artistic beauties: Siena.

Starting from Florence, you will be taken to Siena by a comfortable air-conditioned minivan by an English speaking driver and tour leader.

Here you will enjoy a guided walking tour of this compact city that will let you discover also Piazza del Campo, the main central square where the famous Palio horse race takes place every year, as well as exploring quieter backstreets and learning everything about the Contrade, the 17 medieval city districts that compete against each other in the Palio. During the visit in Siena you will also have the opportunity to have a surprise tasting of a typical product.

The journey continues to San Gimignano, famed for its medieval skyscrapers, high walls and narrow streets that typify most peoples image of a Tuscan hill town. San Gimignano is unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses, which, with its hilltop setting and encircling walls, form an unforgettable skyline.

After some free time in San Gimignano, gaze in awe at a marvellous sunset on the Tuscan hills and then enjoy a typical Tuscan dinner at a boutique winery in the Chianti countryside. During your dinner you will also enjoy a wine tasting, pairing different wines with the various courses of your Tuscan meal.

A wonderful and complete experience that leaves you the free morning but lets you discover all the main aspects of the Tuscan countryside, including the gems of Siena and San Gimignano and a boutique winery.

Day 8

Capri & Anacapri w/ Shared Blue Grotto

Visit the magical Island and sample its beauty sights and scenery. Travel by a cabrio car to the island of Capri and visit two towns Capri and Anacapri. The tour begins with a visit to Anacapri where you can have a wander around the lovely town and continues to the centre of Capri where the little square, otherwise known as " the drawing room of the world" is located. You will also visit the Villa San Michele where In the garden you can admire a series of characteristic plants of the Mediterranean flora - such as camellias, hydrangeas, beautiful rose bushes, pines and cypresses - surrounded by a typical white columned pergola, one of the characteristics of the local villas. Also in the garden you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples. This day will touch the height of its splendor with the visit by PRIVATE BOAT of the wonderful Blu Grotto, one of the natural beauties of the island, best known in the world for the particular play of light that is created in its waters by the bright blue reflections of water, an effect due to the sunlight that enters the cavity a second entrance located below sea level and 18 meters high from the bottom.
